Is there evidence that ABA works?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the leading, research-based methodology proven to bring about positive, meaningful change in behavior in individuals with autism and learning disabilities. ABA has been endorsed by state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Surgeon General. Thousands of studies have demonstrated behavior analysis as an effective intervention to increase learning in all people of all ages.

It’s never too early and it’s never too late!

Early Intervention utilizing an intensive and comprehensive model of ABA (25 or more hours per week) studies prove incredible gains, lasting effects and in 47% indistinguishable from their peers.

Although the model is not typically as intense (less than 25 hours per week), a large body of evidence supports the effectiveness of behavior analysis in treating adolescents and adults.

Kennedy Krieger Institute has done a lot of research on ABA as well, their site will provide more insight.
